Why I’m on writing-dot-com

As a teenager I journaled frequently, and had a knack for creative writing. In 2004 / 2005 I enrolled in a couple Creative Nonfiction courses at the local community college, where classmates appreciated my whit and perspective. Since then I haven’t done much writing of any kind, apart from work emails, and personal text messages.

A good friend pointed me in the direction of this site. My intention is to get back into journaling, primarily jotting down personal memories of childhood and my earlier adult life. My whit has all but disappeared, and my perspective is increasingly apparent to be undiagnosed autism.
