A brief encounter, captured for all time |
There was a perfect boy Very different from the others Who was loyal to his friends And adored by all their Mothers Who met a perfect girl Though It frankly could be said The beauty that she held was in his sweet romantic head For their time was only fleeting As they only had one meeting They held hands under the stars While they both looked up to Mars And so perfect was their time That the love from them did shine And it shone into the night At dead-on the speed of light And although they never wed Are both a long time dead They're together to this day Though very far away In a thousand years from now Between the Bear and Plough In times galactic race They still hold hands in space |
