Hollow timpani
beckons—
emptiness sings
its silent song.
 
Simply intricate
in its glorious arrangement—
subtly quiet.
Omnipresent.
 
Vibration
ceasing—
overwhelming
deafening hush.
 
A moment ticks
beyond yourself,
Drum beat— Heartbeat—
Silent beat—
