Lost In You

The beginning of this relationship was, at first glance, perfect

Navy truck, velvet moon sky,
The world melted away, it was just you and I.
Lost in an intrinsic sway
watching the dark azure fade into a brilliant ombre.
Too timid to make the first move,
you pull me in and and I remove
my uncertainty only to be filled to the brim with love.
Clouds slinking across the morning dew,
by then I knew I already loved you.
Sitting together not needing to say a word,
as the world carries on, we got lost in our own creation, undeterred.
