The Note pt. II

Poem based on moving on from an old relationship.

Traveling.. traveling through life hanging onto you
I still have this note in my possession we wrote
If you ever loved me too I have no clue
I never had it in me to throw out this note
Everything we been through felt so true

Reveling.. reveling through all the memories we shared
Reading these words make me feel so much regret
With all the things I wish I would have bared
The friendship we shared I could never forget
After all this time your presence still lingered

Burning..burning my heart is on fire
The note I sparked went all up in smoke
At this point moving on is all that I desire
All the energy I put into this connection I revoke
Finding someone who is meant for me is all I require
