Whenever I thought life I also thought of you,
Whenever I thought of living it would be with you.
In my mind where you stay, to haunt my dreams,
Which aren't considered nightmares, frightening it seems.


Whenever I thought of Love I would think of your ways,
Whenever I thought of a man you're all that comes my way.
Your humble being and loving smile,
Oh God.....if you were mine.


Whenever I thought of pain you would linger,
Whenever I thought of a heartbreak I heard your name.
Is it that your taken or that were just not to be,
Or it me... It is that I don't see,
That you weren't made for me.
