Winter

Old man Winter occasionally can be cruel
Icy winds blowing ice and snow
Jack Frost has a cold frigid bite

Freezing cold that can bring all to a stop
So cold the chill is felt to the bones
Old man winter sometimes can be cruel

Surprise patches of ice so dangerously slick
Deep snow turns all in sight pure white
Jack Frost has a cold frigid bite

Freezing air comes refusing to leave
Lakes and streams transformed to ice
Old man winter sometimes can be cruel

Chilling winds that freeze all in its path
Ice with snow covers the ground thick
Jack Frost has a cold frigid bite

Quick or slow winter will come and go
Fast mild winter can make us smile
Jack Frost has a cold frigid bite
