Why imagine?


Know. Offal smells the same to you and I
Know. We pray for the same miracles.
Know. We run away from the same ills.
Know. We run towards the same gains.
Know. Our blood runs the same tint.
Know. If the world runs out of things that matter.
Water. Patience. Common sense.
Know. I will die. So will you. In a matter of time
Know. Whatever pieces we call ours,
were someone else's aeons ago.
It will be someone else's aeons later.
What are our spoils to share?
What is ours to take?
Let's share our burdens.
Look through the same lens.
Know with peace.
Know. We are in this together. And will always be.
