Poetry about the aftermath of a hurricane |
| A tangled twist of wreckage branches and lines wrapped around each other with the roadway sign. Waters receded from the rainfalls heavy flow The ground is still a sponge, so you're careful where you go. Castles crumbled all around, with stone wall kicked in kids with lego blocks smashed to the ground Pets thought lost amid the cost of fury return safe and sound without a scratch. The perfect sky crystal blue without a cloud in sight, has nary a dark thought of the crime it has committed in the middle of the night. |
