Sammy the mad cow
Was different
from all the other cows.

He was angry
He was awake
He was aware
He was mad
He was scared,

That someday soon
He would be taken
To the slaughterhouse.

To be turned into
Meat for a Big Mac.

He tried to get
The other cows
To join him.

In his great escape
But his fellow cows
Were too content
To just eat.


Besides they thought
That the slaughterhouse
Was just a conspiracy theory.

And that Sami was
Well, a mad cow.

Sam one morning
Went for a walk
As the sun came up.

Jumped the fence
Escaped the dogs
And ran away
Into the woods.

Where he became breakfast
For a pack of hungry wolves,
Who enjoyed steak for breakfast.

He said to himself

At least I am not going to be
A Big Mac,
