A waste of time?

a poem for all, no matter your side
a poem that unites, not divides
we remmber those, who's ranks diminish
for policitions start these wars
fought by people like us who fight to the finish what they start!
are we cannon fodder or patriots, only history will tell.
one day, mother's will no longer grieve
one day we will have no war
all being equal, I will be on your side!
