Corner

In the corner that's where I stay
trying hard to understand the bigger plan
While feeling everything but human

Been cast aside
no goodbye
no explanation as to why

Left to wonder what went wrong
or when your heart began to sing a different song
or just playing games after all

Filled with doubt
all hope drained out
In a corner with no about

It's kinda always been this way
People never seem to stay
rather quick when they run away

There are no words that can stop the fight
For one the world just seems tight
Never sure what is right

Standing up from my knees
Fighting hard just to breath
Ready to state my plea

Time will make it ok
as it too doesn't stay
not even a memory of this day
