The hungry cook
In the old west mining town ‘
Looked over his supplies
He had white bread
Carrots, mushrooms,

Wondering what he would
Come up with
For his daily menu,
He stepped outside,

He rode his pale horse
To the nearby town
To pick up some essential supplies
Stopping off for a shot of whiskey
At the bar.

A gunman walked in
And killed everyone
Including the hungry cook.

Just another day
In the wild west.
