National Absinthe Day for writers' cramp

National Absinthe Day

In honor of national Absinthe day
I think back
To the few times
I have tried absinthe

And the rumored links
To madness
That it inspired

A French drink
Made from wormwood herb
It tasted vaguely
Like drinking licorice

Not too bad actually
And I did get a buzz
But not the madness
That I was looking for,
