Gluttony and the results

Pastries, cookies and some pies
vanish quickly beneath my eyes.
Alfredo chicken does abound
Counting calores in a mound.
Lovely sauces I do adore
on penne pasta and much more.
I cannot let these foods pass by
I check the scales again, and sigh.
