My Turtle

Wise old soul; connected, enduring, patient.
Willing to walk the earth slowly -
appreciating each moment for all it holds,
knowing the journey is as important
as the destination.

With a willing ear, a willing heart, the turtle
is known for seeing within, without. Seeing
deeply into the wholeness of life. A turtle
carries his home with him thus making wherever
the turtle is - home.

Intuitive with a great capacity to be creative--
the music of the turtle is said to be magical.
It lets them be seen, but more,
allows them to see inside those around them.
Steadily moving towards its destination.

Tis said once a turtle has found 'his' turtle
that the two will never really be apart; can
find each other even across the wide oceans
because they are linked by an intrinsic bond.
You are my turtle.
