Tis the season |
Foole Alert Tis Aprille and ye showers fall; wet unjust and just as one. Furtive figures roam the hall to gull the simpleton. Jackanapes and jesters droll do seed the keep with snares, Their petty tricks exact a toll and catch us unawares. Tread lightly through this trying day; cast eyes both front and back. None are safe from prankish play and patience sorely taxed. Beware salt sugar, short sheet beds, the loose-legged wooden stool. Fear buckets balanced overhead; tis the season of the Foole!
