My family had some special members.
Their struggles against handicaps
were not seen as limitations but as challenges..
Each member emerged
from an internal struggle with newly discovered strength.
Wyatt worked to build confidence in
an anxiety filled mind.
Serena developed the power to forgive
with her understanding of grace.
Carys' epiphany came as she learned
to define true love.
We never lost the fact that
with faith, hope and love
our future could fill our lives with joy.
