Remembering your love, and knowing it will always be. A Sonnet. |
| The butterfly wings of my heart fluttered, as your gaze held the sparkle of our sun radiating beams so bright, I shuddered. Racing thoughts poured out utterly undone, as fleeting as the buzzing of a bee soaring between the beats of my eardrum. Your seductive touch set my senses free, leaving me to reel out of control, numb. Honeysuckle-laced breeze kisses my cheek, reminiscent of the petal-soft taunts shared between us down by the crooked creek. A place my memory forever haunts. With you, I found soulmates truly exist. Death does not stop love. It always persists. (14 lines) |
