The thoughts someone might have in a forest

Away in the forest during the day
I sit by the river watching animals play
The wind engulfs my body as a whole
Clears my mind and cleanses my soul

Here I am alone
Here I am home
This is where I abide
Away from the outside

There is no time
There is no crime.
The world keeps going on
Without you as a pawn

Stay with me
Where feelings are free
Together we are one
Together we admire the sun

The moon and stars alight
We are greeted by the night
Dancing under the trees
Are rustling orange leaves

The silence is never broken
But words are always spoken
Nothing can tear us apart,
You will always remain in my heart

The sun is now rising
And I am realising -
That you will never come
To admire the sun

Away in the forest during the day
