When age strips youth and beauty,
and rolls replace curves,
when grief weighs down and shoulders slump
and smiles turn to hollow shells hiding tears.
When failure brings frustration and
positivity and courage threaten to flee.
When the world is flipped upside down
and nothing feels familiar.
There is one never-changing constant
keeping me grounded and full of hope.
