At the Seabeach

A La'Tuin poem

Summer sights are scattered at seabeach
Birds float high in the bright blue sky
Clouds can't stop bursting rays of the sun
Lasting memories within reach

Sea salty air and snack of a peach
Sunblock aromas and Mai Tai
Whiff of soap bubbles from a spray gun
Beachy scents discovered by each

Sounds can be heard like whispers of speech
Girl giggles when her kite will fly
A volleyball cheer yelled by someone
We watch, learn, and sometimes we teach

Waves chase a child to hear him screech
Soft feel of sand, both wet and dry
Breeze tickles skin of kid on the run
Senses are awake at the beach
