Tears

A short poem

I saw you today
And I broke down in tears
It's only been days
But it feels like years

I am scared of losing you again
So I'll stay away
Because I can't regain
The strength to stay

At least I know
That you're alive
And that gives me hope
To strive

And here you go again
Farther than ever before
Too bad you don't know
You're the will I live for
