Than Bauk poem with a circular stairway format. |
Foxes - Size Matters When foxes hunt in the front goes the runt. Who cares if a snare is tripped? Where else should a no good runt go? Would you lose the chief? Muse long but choose the runt in the front when you hunt, foxes! Form: Than Bauk Three lines of four syllables have a descending rhyme (fourth syllable, then third, then second), but you can add more lines by restarting the descent again. The form is nicknamed "Stairway", and I decided to use a circular stairway so that I would return to my beginning. O. O. O. a O. O. a. O O. a. O. b O. O. b. O O. b. O. c O. O. c. O O. c.
