A short ~60 word horror story

Silent screams echoed throughout my mind as I tried desperately to give the nurses any indication that I was conscious. I couldn't move, I couldn't speak, I could only watch in horror as the nurses around me prepped the operating room.

Relief slowly came and quickly vanished when one of the nurses made eye contact.

"Doctor, he's awake. We can begin"
