You must be grey

Cover your skin
from head to toe
with grey paint.
Only let God know
what's under that
because people
will care
too much.

If your skin is white
you're privileged
no matter your
personal history
and you're due
to be judged on
by anyone else.

If your skin is dark
or any other shade
of yellows or browns
then you're either
a god
or a devil.

If you're a boy
then you're sexist
misogynistic
and due to learn
the day in the life
of a woman.

if you're a girl
then you're whiny
yet also can't have
emotions at all
because everyone knows
that all your emotions
are from periods.
Period.

If you're neither,
you either don't exist
or need to be
put on a pedicel
to be praised on from
the left
and spat on from
the right.

if you're gay
or straight
cover up
because either way
you'll get spat on
by people
thinking
that they're better
than you.

If you're different
you're Satan.
If you're the same,
you're stuck in the past
unwilling to change
for others who are like you
to spit and dance
on your grave.

So cover your skin
with grey paint
and grey clothes
and act grey
and be grey
because god forbid
you be human.
