Solution

Poem about recovery from the bondage of drugs and alcohol.

There was a time in my life when my soul felt dead,
The drinking and drugs began messing up my head.
Until I found a fellowship of people just like me,
these folks had a solution I hadn't been able to see.
Abstinence is the key the people would chime,
My life got easier doing things one day at a time.
Things got a little easier each and every day,
I'm glad these people showed me the way.
With a loving God of my own understanding,
My life became better and not so demanding.
