A Note To Self

Just a little poem that was dancing around my head.

Aren't you scared?

Of what?

Of Life.

How could you not be? The world, it's a scary place.

I haven't seen a lot of it, but I've seen enough to know.

The world is a very scary place.

Why can't you see?

Why don't you understand that he's not who he says he is?

Why can't you see he's nothing but a snake?

The world is dangerous.

You could die, playing like that.

There's no reset button on life- can't you see?

There's no respawn.

Don't be stupid-

Play it smart.

The world is scary, dangerous-

crazy.

Don't trust so easily.

Don't let anyone win your heart.

The only things allowed in your heart are waffles, tacos, animals-

maybe your xbox too.

This is a bad idea,

you saw this coming.

You should run, hide-

be done with life.

Maybe,

Maybe you should even die.

You're too far gone-

No saving you now.
