Today, I am wearing my favorite shirt
Today, I am wearing the same dirty shirt
Today, I am eating delicious blueberry pancakes
Today, I am eating my only meal of the day
Today, I venture out on my own with no fear
Today, I remain hidden with fear
Today, I face the world and anxiously await tomorrow
Today, I barely breathe and hold no hope for tomorrow
Today, I may rise
Today, I may die
