I wrote this a long time ago, and finally decided to finish it. |
| Today I let my last summer go, beginning the menial cycle for its final turn. At last life is finally beginning to show, the value of the hard lessons I did learn. The golden leaves of fall, are brighter than ever before, and, as far as I can recall, this world never seemed greater to explore. Dead winter snow has finally come, and now I must prepare, for my final trials and their outcomes, so that I may be judged fair. With spring showers, the world around me grows, and with each passing hour, the further I am from my woes. Now I know my youth has passed, a fact I can no longer deny. I knew it couldn’t last, and soon I shall die. |
