A poem about getting out of your comfort zone and being yourself. |
| How do we hike the mountains of our mind? How do we climb out of the valleys That we have created in self-doubt and fear, When tunnels are much more appealing? How do we flee from that oft’ quoted box? How do we break down the walls in our head, The ones that we’re hitting again and again, Our comfort zone, also our prison. Fly over the mountains that you tried to hike! Outside the box is a world all your own. Thoughts are a train, imagination soars. The air gives you views that you’ve never known. Tunnels we made out of judgement and fear, We no longer need in the sunny sky. Some people might mock, but others might smile When they see you open, free as you fly. |
