Competition

Is it about gymnastics? Or is there something deeper? (Depends on my mood when I read it)

Navigating my way
Across the big blue abyss
Leaping and tumbling,
But not falling
As I go.
Keep concentrating
As the melody continues
Far into the darkness
While I fall short of breath
As I try to keep up.
I finished
And am awarded with applause
And friends' hugs.
