Hello Moon

A short poem I wrote in 2007.

HELLO MOON

Hello Moon,
Pearl of the night.
Reach for Heaven,
Touch the sky.

See the world
Turn to night.
Shooting stars
And brilliant sights.

Chase the dreams
Of boys and girls.
Grant their wish,
Save the world.

Gods of old
Travel past.
Journeys begin
And never last.

Kiss the stars,
Say goodnight.
Morning looms
In the sparking twilight.

Life begins
And ends too fast.
Dawn breaks,
Yesterday is past.
