Thinking of Mother

Mama, Mommy, Mother
like her, there is no other
from diapers to my wedding day
she's been with me, every step of the way

Mama rocked me to sleep while singing a lululbye
Mommy held my hand while we walked
Mother was there with loving advice
I always valued her talks

Mother is no longer with me
and not a day goes by
that I don't think of my Mother
and wipe a tear from my eye
