Its about a mans effort at forgetting someone

I have put millions of miles under my heels
but close to you I still feel
I have put thousands of wishes under a blessing
but this heart couldn't still start second guessing
I have put hundreds of words under this tongue
but all of those songs remain unsung
I have put tens of thoughts under this head
but to you all of them always led
I have put one word to say it all
But it led to my mighty fall
And now i have nothing to say
but the strokes of this pen are a dead giveaway.
