Shadows

Another poem

Shadows all around me
Everywhere I go
Closer and closer they come
Encircling me and closing in
I see them from the corner of my eye
Their voices I hear whispering
Not loud enough to hear the words
But I know it's me they discuss
I know not how I know
It's just a feeling I have, and
That feeling inside me tell me so.
