look!
quiet
the Fairy
she is dancing.
gracefully wafting
through discord and battle
amongst invisible foes
softly inspiring survival
tomorrow's nightmares trailing behind
life blooms in her shadow of majesty
slowly drowning in air thick with beauty
her escape is felt rather than seen
the fog of loss starts creeping in
the mystical departure
complicit in leaving
the simple, mundane
a withdrawal
leaving me
empty
less
