Mom sighed. "What now?"

"Yesterday, I bet Lisa that I would surprise her today."

"So what did Billy do, Lisa?"

"Nothing, I waited all day."

"She expected me to surprise her. I didn't, so I surprised her. What do you think?"

Mom thought having two kids was a mistake.
