Unbreakable

a poem for the cruel

You criticize me on a daily basis,
You try and crush my dreamland oasis

My words mean nothing to you,
Although you have never stood in my shoes

I am peasant in your castle
Is this why you give me such a hassle?

I will keep quite and carry on
As you pretend your intelligence is above and beyond

You are blind to the world around you
and your possessions are what has bound you

Happiness will not come in your time
for your soul is not kind

As your attempts to break me come with no avail
you will set sail, a coward male

You are just a big fish in a small pond
true greatness you will never spawn

you may be wealthy with possessions and currency
but you will be plagued with depression and uncertainty

Your ego is profound

As a promise I will be there,
To see when you hit the ground

I have found enlightenment within my soul,
so may you reap what you sow
