All alone with my thoughts,
thoughts that twist, that hurt
looking for answers,
finding only questions, questions.

All alone with myself, looking for anyone
to share...to be...not alone.
Eyes open, staring, longing for any but me
only me, the gray of endless hope,
hoping to see, daring to believe, but...
only nothing...and me.

All alone with my mind, with me,
the never ending longing to be
not alone, alone with me, standing, lost
in the ocean of isolation, looking, hoping
finding no one, no one...only me.
