Off to The Races

I’m not starting off from the first sip of my coffee I rather start from the empty one

At these moment I'm not starting off from the first sip of my coffee
I rather start from an empty coffee cup
The empty cup won't be filled up with my stillness
So I just hope the caffeine in my vein is enough to go

Sorry to say it is always my exclusive time
I need to set aside everything for a moment
Hopefully you will be all right
Cause I always be back

I never get enough for these recurrences
Even they might not make any money
Cause I don't aim the pole position
I just enjoy the ride

Don't think I'm ignorant for these temporary absences
The races are just too important for me
I sometimes feel unfortunate of having these races
Cause these races are not required anybody involved

I'm not afraid of any accidents
I'm just afraid of one incident
The incident of you neglecting me
Cause I'm leaving you for these

So when I should stop doing these
I don't know...
Cause checkered flags might be waiting on a distance
But these races are never end
