This is a poem I wrote in the moment my best friend was leaving for the airforce.

Fly.

Some Day I'll be

Gone, free

Never to return

Never to touch down

Feet off the ground

The day will come around

The world I'll go

Only memories to show

My past ever was

I'll do all this because

I want to soar

Not run this track

One day this map

No plan, no trap

Will guide me far away

Will take me to tomorrow

Forever free from sorrow
