Gift

I wrote this about three months ago.

I am pursuing a career that is one
of the hardest jobs to get in to.
And even though I have had many rejections
I won’t stop and will keep my promise to you.
I have worked hard for my family,
so that one day they will be proud of me.
I had the pleasure of meeting some people
Who changed my life completely.
And it hurt to give up something
That I loved very deeply.
To give up something you loved
For what you have been fighting for;
Only to find out that what you thought
Was there is no more.
The end result will happen when you
Are least expecting it.
Until then dance in the rain, and
enjoy it when you can take credit.
