Can I be significant?

Do you know the meaning of the word “significant”?
It means to be of value, to be important.
But the last word in significant is can’t
So does this mean that I can’t be significant?
Is can’t being a part of significant,
A sign that none of us are really significant?
And if that really is a sign, if I can’t
Be significant, then what is really the point
In trying to be something I’m not
And never will be?
