A sonnet for Spring using the words: Spring, flowers, rain, April or May, dance |
| Spring, Spring, Spring Tentative spears of palest green sprout from branch and twig. Buds swell on the magnolia. Mating birds play tig. On one lone, pink camellia, cupped drops of rain glint and wink. Nature stirs from winter sleep, hovering on the brink. With April's Spring renewal, flowers dance with glee as days are slowly lengthening, swelling buds break free. The steady wheel of time rolls on. Winter chill will soon be gone. |
