When you see someone looking downcast, don't ignore them; give them a smile.

A simple glance
Just one little action
Can make someone want to dance.

A small "Hello!"
A friendly smile
That little thing
Can make a person go a mile.

These little things
So simple to do,
Are not frequently done
But they can be by you.

You never know
What the other will think,
But this little deed
Can create a link.

You can change someone's world
Take them away from the end,
By giving them hope
And strength you can lend.

You may not realize it
But many need love and care
What can you give?
A friendly smile and love to share.
