Poetry: Broken

Not living not dead
Not happy nor sad
Shattering words recently said
Interpretations that have driven me mad

My mind wonders the darkness
My mind roams the light
The freedom I want to harness
Darkness controls the fight

No help can be found
No help in words I've spoken
Stuck and darkness bound
Not fixed but broken
