A poem of what I feel the world needs in this day and age.

Need

This world is deaf

The needs of the few
are lost to the greed
of the many

This world is blind

The scars of the youth
are lost to the busy
lives of the abundant

This world is dirty

The images of today
are flooding the minds
of the unaware

This world is crying

The hope for tomorrow
is lost in the thought
of the dirty, blind, and deaf

This world needs God
to show us the way
