Life is an ocean,
It is vast and diverse, and with its towering waves,
Sweeps you away into places unknown
It shines with beauty and wonder under a glistening sun
But like love, it is blinding
Underneath its mesmerizing surface, there is danger
Luck is needed to survive,
Every corner, every inch, is just another surprise
That awaits you in silence
You have to be fast. Smart. Prepared.
But just like a beach,
There is a promise, a promise of memory,
A promise of discovery, of hope,
A promise of wonder and a promise of joy
