A poem on life, nature and how we perceive things. |
Experience Life flitters in the minds repose Beyond our eyes it floats, Across a butterfly that chose To race the paper boats And like a short recurring dream That stretch three scores and ten, The thrashing fish, their tails gleam, Between the now and then! If we could hold this moment brief Embellish space and time Contained within a single leaf Would be a world sublime. The boats bequeath a journeys end To life’s immortal mirth And now the light and darkness blend Inheriting the earth. |
